ABOUT ROBINS BUSY BIRDS

Robins Busy Birds is the largest manufacturer and retailer of acid free fabric scrapbook embellishments on the net ! We started selling in 2004 after creating the product first born out of need in 2003.....then created by Robin, family & friends purely because it was fun. Before we knew it, we had over 5,000 pieces and wanted to perfect the process. 

We achieved patent pending status, applied for logo & trademark. At that time we had created 42,000 pieces and the patent attorneys were frantic thinking we had a corporation making these for us w/o a patent and out of the country. I just laughed & told them we were making them at my dining table and right here in the US of A! We are actually a team of Family and friends that work extremely well together doing this super fun craft ! 

Robin was invited by the patent attorney Steven Leavitt to make a commercial in Texas on the patent process......that had to be the coolest thing I have ever done. Then I did 2 radio talk shows about the patent process, logo & trademark process for Steven to educate people. 

We did tons of research and PH tested our products along with others we found. To our surprise we found that most Scrap embellishments were made out of the USA and the packaging did not say acid free on them and when tested were not…I even demonstrated this to Steven and his colleagues. Showing the differences in our products and the average competitors. 

We then started selling on Ebay in 2004. In 2007 we had achieved power seller status and had begun selling our products all over the world. We have created over 150,000 pieces for sale and constantly creating new & unusual one of a kind items. 

We are proud of our accomplishments and strive to be the best we can be. We have made it a point to consistently make a quality product and to supply our customers with an expanded catalog of items to create the most beautiful scrap pages ever…however our unique products are not STICKERS and can be used on a wide range of projects simply by changing the way you apply them. One woman used our monster truck embellishments as decorations on her sons lampshade ! ! ! 

We hope to become a one stop shop for our customers…..we now carry many varieties of papers including handmade, vellum & embossed…..we have designed our own kits to include papers, embellishments and fibers for creating some fabulous scrap pages.
